I'm tired of blogging. It distracts me from other useless things, and I didn't get the influx of new visitors I had hoped for. So this is the last post for now, until I get some major news in, or a ton of people beg me to start up again. I'll probably leave you with scans of senior proofs later in the week which, heh, only the few of you will look at.
Speaking of people, I got invited to a chatroom by someone I didn't know at first yesterday. Being that I rarely get invites period, unless they're bot-generated or put out by complete strangers, I did the usual warn twice, then block thing. I received 3 more invites to the same room by 3 different people, so I went in and found out that all the ppl were cbm campers. They all sort've knew me, but I didn't know them. Strange, because it usually works out the opposite, where I know them but they don't know me...oh well, it was a pleasant surprise. Very interesting chatting with this group of friends that I don't know:
DaAZNbaLLeRGiRL6: i LiKe U ScOtT
LiL aZn gRL 4 yU: i like you ScOtTiE
DaAZNbaLLeRGiRL6: ScOtT iz THe ReAsOn FoR Da SeAsOn
LiL aZn gRL 4 yU: SCottIE
TayO1187: haha jen... in ur info... u put scott in!?!?
BeamMeUp4: i feel special
Theo's so mean, haha. oh well, at least I have a unusual IM conversation to put up now.
In other news, I'm about 2 weeks away from getting a free iPod! Yep, it's the new 20GB iPod. I feel so lucky. I will post pics when I get it.
Our worship team is going to be so cool up at camp. We're playing Tuesday morning so everyone be there or I'm getting ryan and all the counselors to dogpile you. We have a new theme song too! It's _________________ (i don't know if ryan wants me to say. IM me and I'll tell you. It's a good song though.) It's good that MOST of you aren't coming (although I haven't heard a reply from *ahem) Oh yeah, I have to leave Friday afternoon =(=(=(
I think that about covers it all. I'll edit if I can think of any other musings. It hasn't been great blogging, I'll see none of you later (implying that there is none of you to see). I'll blog again when I find some more friends.
EDIT (8:45 pm): WRITE ME AT CAMP!!! I BEG YOU!!!! (sounds like my futile plea for human interaction at the beginning of the summer)

back from Hong Kong, it was cool. Don't want to post much about it based on the low readership stats of my blog.
Bought a tripod for my camera for $11, a Sony-branded mp3 player, and a pirated DVD. other stuff too.
there, i posted. are you happy now?

In just a couple of hours, I'm off to the orient. Hong Kong, the land of black hair brown eyes, canto pride, and (hopefully) unbeatable bargains on both real and black market stuff.
"Ngor mm sick gong j-owng mun", but all I really need to know is "Gei do chin?" and " Bin do hai sai sau gaan?" (very important on the streets!)
So, until next thursday...see ya!
SABBATICAL

Fair has finally ended, much to my relief. It was sort've nice being the old guy of the program, but it didn't grow the way I had anticipated, so I might now be back next year. By the way, thanks to all of you who visited me, and it was good to see all of you who didn't realize that I was working at fair (mostly teachers)
To add on to the busyness of the summer, I enrolled in an SAT II Math class, which will be starting at the end of July and go on weekly until the first week of October. It's one of those places where only Chinese people go, but the teacher is renowned for having more than 50% of his students get an 800 on the test (not just a high score, but a perfect score). Oh yeah, AP scores are back. Both are basically what I expected. I'll do better next year, hopefully.
This year for CBM camp, Ryan was able to get us a slot for worship and a special number. How it's looking so far is that I'll be lead/guitar, lauren is going to make a debut on bass, debbie and kristen on vocals, and nicole on acoustic and vocals, maybe kevin bob on guitar too. Should be very interesting, an amateur group like us leading a group of 200+ of our peers. Pray that we'll get everything worked out by camp.
I've basically disowned Internet Explorer. My new browser is Opera. Microsoft can be so overrated sometimes.
I really don't have much more to say except i'll be on vacation starting thursday (hence sabbatical) for a week in HK. I won't be checking my email anytime during the trip unless our hotel's business center has free net access, or there's free net access very close by.
Senior pictures tomorrow!

Sigh, can't believe it's already July. Seems like only last week I finished up finals. I actually have to think to recall memories of my Mexico cruise. Pretty soon it'll be the halfway point of summer, and I've still got lots of homework to be done. I hate summer homework. Reminds me of part of this email I received last year
"And God said, 'I will give humans an intelligence, and I will allow them to increase their intelligence by allowing them to attend school to learn.'
"And Satan replied, 'Then I will make competition among humans so fierce for getting into school. Many will not make it, and they will have low self-esteem, and they will curse God for not getting into the school they wanted.'"
Anyways, today I started working Guest Services at fair. It wasn't too bad, except I received more complaints today than I did my first year, one which was very, well, un-Christian. There's a big chance I'll be at Green Gate all week, but I may get swapped. My remaining schedule:
July 5: 11-7 (yep, working on a national holiday)
July 6: 11-7
July 7: OFF
July 8: 10-7
July 9: 10-7
July 10: OFF
July 11: 10-7
You know, there's still time to visit me. I haven't gotten one visit thus far. Each day I don't receive a visit, I add a sad face to my profile. Soon it'll be all filled with sad faces. C'mon, visit me. One visit will erase all the sad faces lol!
Oh yeah, my computer sucks now. Windows restarts itself whenever I copy and paste a large chunk of files. The darn thing overheats so it restarts itself, so I'm using a huge fan to cool down the innards.
Saw Spiderman 2 today. Not bad, much more meaty than #1. Can't say it's necessarily better thatn #1 though.
In response to lauren's xanga, my natural high (that i'm currently feeling withdrawal symptoms from) is pleasant, unexpected surprises from people (hint, HINT...)
